EXAMINATION UNIFORM
The Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) & the Les Griffith Tap Dancing Academy (LGTDA) have specific guidelines in regard to the uniform & grooming of examination candidates. The following requirements are compulsory for students sitting for either or both classical & tap examinations.
ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCING CLASSICAL BALLET
PRE-PRIMARY/PRIMARY GIRLS
- Baby Blue “Energetiks – CL06” low back leotard.
- Baby Blue “Energetiks – CX01” cross-over (optional).
- Salmon Pink “Energetiks – CBS01” ankle socks.
- Pink leather “Bloch - ProLite” full sole ballet shoes with pink elastics.
- Baby Blue “Energetiks – CS06” hail spot ballet skirt.
- Hair to be styled in 2 plaits pulled across the top of the head in a “Heidi” crown (NO fringes).
PRE-PRIMARY/PRIMARY BOYS
- White “Energetiks - CC21” boys t-shirt.
- Navy “Paul Wright” drill shorts.
- White “Energetiks – CBS01” ankle socks.
- Black leather “Bloch – Prolite” full sole ballet shoes with black elastics.
GRADES 1 & 2 GIRLS
- Luna Blue “Energetiks – CL06” low back leotard.
- Luna Blue “Energetiks – CX01” cross-over (optional)
- Ballet Pink “Fiesta – Feather Soft” tights.
- Pink leather “Bloch – ProLite” full sole ballet shoes with pink ribbons.
- Black character skirt with ribbons (mid-calf length).
- Black canvass “Bloch” flat heel character shoes with elastics.
- Hair to be styled in 2 plaits pulled back into a centered bun (NO fringes).
